Full Time and Part Time Study
You can choose to do your studies either full time, part time or through correspondence - part time.  We highly recommend doing our Diploma of Beauty Therapy, but at times the Cert IV may be all that is required:
 

Full time: Diploma 10.5 months

 

2 intakes a year – February and July
Hours:  9.00 am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday with 1 hour for lunch
 
Part time:  Diploma 16 months

2 intakes a year – February and July
Hours:  2 nights a week on a Monday and Tuesday and 1 day a week for practical work on a Friday.

Diploma in Beauty Therapy Fees and Payment options:

Payment arrangement that we can make available to you for the next Diploma of beauty therapy intake for 2010.

A $250 deposit is all that is required to secure your position in our next intake.

Balance $6950.00

Full time balance payment per month over 10 months (45 weeks): $695 per month (or $347.50 fortnight). Or choose to pay by the term being $1737.50 per term for 4 terms

Part time balance payment per month over 16 months: $434.40 per month ($217.20 per fortnight). Or choose to pay by the term being $1158.35 per term for 6 terms.

Doing it Full time, will have you industry ready quicker and make you available to enter the market and be employed quicker. Some students do gain employment within about 6 weeks of starting as they have completed their waxing, lash tint and brow tinting, and started on facials so are able to assist businesses with their skills immediately.

Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy Fees and Payment options:

Traineeship
 
Students interested in a traineeship in beauty therapy need to participate in Cert IV in beauty therapy.  They will need to find a beauty salon/spa business that is willing to employ them as a trainee, where we can be the Registered Training Organisation.  If you are elibible, the government will fund the business for taking you on as a trainee.
 

 

CERTIFICATE III IN BEAUTY SERVICES

The Certificate III in Beauty Services (WRB30104) has been designed for those students who are looking to be trained in the basic salon treatments; waxing, tinting, manicure and pedicures. This course will give you thorough training in these practical skills as well as the theory to enable students to work in salon, department stores or work from home. (If you plan is to work in a salon or day spa, most salons request a minimum of Cert IV or Diploma in Beauty Therapy).

There are 21 units to complete for the Certificate in Beauty Services.

The total price is $5900.00. A holding deposit of $250 is required with a further deposit of $2000 to be paid prior to one month before course commences. The balance of $3650 can be paid off fortnightly at $426.25 (8 payments over 4 months). Uniform not included. Early bird payments save $200 off the payment.

We have flexible delivery times for Certificate III in Beauty Services, with some units being able to be studied via self paced pathway at home (if required), and with Practical application being done at our Academy.

Assessments will need to be completed for all the above units and are competency based. Once competency has been demonstrated and all payments are finalized you will be eligible for your Certificate.
 

CERTIFICATE II IN NAIL TECHNOLOGY

To achieve a Certificate II in Nail Technology a total of thirteen (13) units must be completed. This comprises:

  • Twelve (12) core units, and One (1) elective unit Core units

The total price is $2900.00. A deposit of $600 is required with the remaining balance of $2300 being paid off monthly at $766.70 each month (3 payments). This does not include uniform, but does include a basic Nail kit. Early bird payment is $2750.00 (saving $250) if paid prior to commencement of the course.
